Webster Galleries Inc. is pleased to offer an exquisite space for both formal and informal corporate parties, customer appreciation nights, seminars, sales and networking presentations, and special events through our program entitled “A Meeting Place Among the Arts”.
The cost of $850.00 + GST, includes the use of our banquet-style tables, chairs, and coat racks. This charge is for four hours for the event with additional time prior to enable the caterers etc. to set up. There is a charge of $100.00 per hour over and above this if the occasion runs later than the agreed upon time. Ask about our reduced rates for registered charities!
The lessee is encouraged to use their caterer of choice, although we can recommend ones that we have used in the past. There are no extra charges for setting up a bar, but the lessee will need an alcohol permit.
Depending on how the event is organized (seated vs. cocktail), we can hold up to 150 people when both floors are utilized. One hundred to one hundred and twenty people can be accommodated for a sit down dinner with ample space to move between tables. A very large elevator near the rear of the gallery assists catering companies in terms of a mobile kitchen.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LESSEES
1. The space should be booked and confirmed at least one week prior to date of event.
2. Payment of $850.00 + GST, payable to Webster Galleries Inc., must be received prior to the event.
3. Please note that set up and take down of tables, chairs, tablecloths, dishes, food, beverages or other resources such as entertainment or presentation equipment that are required for the event are the responsibility of the Lessee.
4. Please ensure the cleanliness of the space after an event.
5. Please also present Webster Galleries Inc. with a Certificate of Insurance indicating that the lessee provides insurance for the date of the event and any occurrences directly
attributable to the event.
